Shoes are all gone - God's Word has been handed out, and we're ready to dive into bed!
Thank you, Lord for a great day!

Everyone helps. These two kids found a pair of shoes already, and are enjoying Peter's truck.

The crowd rushes in, while we assist, and Peter takes photos & hands out Christian tracts.
Carole is doing 3 jobs at once, while this newborn's mommy is finding shoes for her other children.

Our last stop with the remaining shoes, and piles of donated clothing! "Concha" owns this beach restaurant, and is giving instructions to the people who have been waiting for over an hour for us to let them in.

We thought this was humerous, as this stray colt wandered into the yard where flowers were being sold and was busy eating them until the owner chased him away. He then started eating her bushes in front of the house & blocked the sidewalk!

Just one more game of checkers before we go. Carole was still able to beat both of the teen-agers! Getting dark, we must leave. Hugs, kisses and tears as we say good-bye, and pray we will see each other next year.

My helpers even found shoes to fit them. the 15 yr.old boy in blue wears a size 11 1/2! After the crowd left, we were treated to a delicious meal of shrimp and fresh watermelon from their garden

Adelaida, (in green vest)doesn't know a word of english, but we still communicate. This young girl was so thrilled with her lst pair of heels!

Later that afternoon, we brought more shoes and gospel tracts to give out to about 30 people that Adelaida & Jose had invited to their humble home. She clapped her hands, said a few words, and the kids lined up and patiently waited their turn. They greeted us with a big "THANK YOU"! I had 6 helpers and we all worked hard to match up the right size shoes and feet.
We had some type of soup or stew made with a
cows stomach lining. (Peter kept "poking" me to
smile and be gracious)
They went to alot of trouble, and made us feel
very welcome. It was a real honor to be treated so kindly!

Our new friends, Javier & Luz, invited us to come to their town for breakfast. When we got there, we went to see the WHOLE family at his mother's house!

Everyone was given a turtle to watch over as they made a run for the ocean! My little guy was the first to reach water & swim away!
What an incredible sight for us to experience as we saw God's creation in motion! No one had to coax them or show the way. We only kept the birds away, so they could make the run safely.
Who can possibly deny our creator?

One morning Peter & I visited a sea turtle sanctuary down the street. About 50 of them were hatched the night before. A pre-school class came to visit as well. They were so cute holding the turtles.

Can you bellieve the size of this banana? I picked out our largest banana to compare with this one that our friend gave to us, after we ate at her restaurant!

This
This is a picture of Miguel & his wife, Karina. He was such a great help to us, and even though he doesn't have much in material things, he wanted to reach out to others who he knew would benefit from the gifts we were giving out.
Later that night, he told us that two of the fathers went to his home & thanked us again for giving to their families, and for the Bibles! We give God the praise! Keep us in your prayers, and those who have received God's Word.
The previous pictures showed a new area we went to. The family was so thankful to have shoes and were holding up their new Bibles as well. We want the people to know that we do this in the name of Jesus, who provides for us, loves us, and has has paid the price for our eternal life.

As a thank you, we were given cocoanuts to drink. As the juice drips down my chin, I ask if I'm doing this right?

These 5 little ones came with bare feet & left with shoes!
The little girl was so proud in her pink boots! Her smile was worth all the work!

Yeserday one of the employees asked us if we could drive to a couple of poor sections, where the people are in great need, & he would interpret for us. We arrived with our bags of shoes, and the crowd kept growing, as people saw what was happening.

The Pastor's 15 yr.old son was a huge help to us, both at his church & at the orphanage. Peter went out to the street & invited more people in, and each one got a pair of shoes & a Bible. This could never have taken place without all our friends at home who donated so much, and are a vital part in this ministry.

At an evangelical church in town, Carole was able to share how God provided for our needs to be able to come back to Mex., and also the importance of God's Word, and having a relationship with Him. We set up tables for shoe distribution for after the service.

On Tues. we visited our dear friends, Jose & Adelaida. We don't know each others language, but God has given us a special bond over four years. We gave them both reading glasses, & it was fun to see how surprised Adelaida was when she started to look at our pictures! They could finally see clearly! We also brought her a sewing machine from our church's senior yard sale, and they both are very grateful!

My die hard Jets fan sits alone as he watches his team race to victory! Needless to say, I have a VERY happy camper!!

We had the pleasure of a visit from the family of one of the waiters-"Noe"- at "Ray Azteca" restaurant in Lake Wylie, S.C. They brought the most delicious cerveche & desserts we have ever eaten! This huge bowl was almost gone, and they even left us with the food remaining!! We are in Playa Azul, and enjoying the warm weather. We had a great time sharing God's Word with our new friends, and hope to see them again before we leave here.

These precious children from the orphanage and we, want to thank EVERYONE for your help, contributions, prayers and much more, as God opened the door for us. The director was so happy to let each child have a copy of God's Word, and are looking forward to having us return next year!

These pictures are especially for our dentist friend. They sure could have used his help down here!

On Sat. we brought 3 ladies & 1 teenage boy with us to this orphanage to donate shoes, Bibles, candy, and toothbrushes from our dentist in Charlotte. The lady on the left is the new director, and she was wonderful as a leader, and had a great connection with the kids.
