Here are some of the young guys Peter & I have been able to talk to about Jesus & God's Word. When I asked one 19 yr. old how old he was when he first started to sell items on the beaches, he was 8 yrs. old. I asked about his schooling, & he told me he never went to school. We talked about the area where this certain tribe of Indians resided, and I found out that it was because they have to pay money to go, and need shoes, etc. When I asked him what he does with the money he earns, he told me he sends it back home to the state he lives in, so his sisters can go to school. He told me to read Spanish in the Bible will be hard, but he wants to learn how to read Spanish better, & while he's doing that, he will also learn more about the Savior who loves him and died for him!
