For two nights in a row, God put a Christian in our path to pray for us! One was a former pastor, and one was a lady truck driver! God knew I was alittle nervous, so He just sent them to reassure me! We thank you for your prayers for safe crossing at the border and safe arrival at our first stop tonight in Saltillo, Mx. We re-connected with the Christian man who helped us last year with our frozen pipes & broken toilet! (God cares about the mundane things too).
We've traveled a total of 1,587 miles so far. At our 1st military stop & search in Mx., we were able to give the 6 men a Gideon N.T., and it was received with huge smiles & appreciation. They waved to us as we left! STAY WITH US .....MORE TO COME WHEN WE HAVE INTERNET ACCESS!

Pete and Carole, God's grace and peace be with you. I am so sorry that I missed your call today. I was actually waiting to call you tomorrow so that I could get the latest report to share to the congregation on Sunday. I will still try you tomorrow, but I am so thankful to hear that things are going well thusfar. You both are being held before the Lord in prayer...we are all so proud of you both for following your hearts year after year. Your whole family at Relevant will be lifting you together in prayer sometime between 10:45 and noon this Sunday. I hope to get to talk to you tomorrow. Thanks for the great updates on this blog!
Many blessings of God's protection, provision and peace!
In Christ,
Pastor Matt
Hey Carole and Pete,
God was faithful in answering our prayers for a safe uneventful crossing! Also am rejoicing with you over God's continued confirmation that you are exactly where He wants you to be - can't be any safer than in the palm of His omnipotent hand!
Love the picture of the sunset - it's a beautiful reminder that at the dawning of the day throughout the closing of the day, our God is lovingly watching over us.
I'm looking forward to all the pictures and updates on the people God brings your way.
BTW - is Yaeger with you? I thought you left him with Mark this time, but unless it's an old picture, he's right there by the camper. No need to tell anyone he's not all that brave - just looking at a dobie strikes fear in the heart.
Love you guys. I know you are in good hands. Have fun as you share the Sword!! I'll be praying that those soldiers actually read their NTs.
Glad we're on the winning side,
Candy (and Rodger)
Praying for you, Pete & Carol. Prepare to be blown away at how God is going to work through you today!
