We were eating dinner one night, and this family rode in on their bikes & equipment! Peter went over to take a picture & invite them to dinner when they were ready. They are an amazing family! From Scotland, they flew to the North Pole to begin their journey. Biking with their 9 yr. old daughter, Kate, on a tandem bike with her Dad. They started in June last year & travel approx. 50miles a day. They've traveled through Canada, USA, Mex., and are on their way to Peru!! It was fun to have time with them & we had some great conversations! The next day, we took them down the street to visit the Sea Turtle Sanctuary.Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Never knew there were Scottish hippies! Loved their story - what a great adventure for Kate.
I've commented on 2 or 3 previous occasions, but my comments never appeared before I got my own blog on this site. Hmmm.... wonder how many more people have commented and you've not received them. Getting closer to Puerta Villarta (sp?). Wish I had an extra $600 to pop down and see you!! You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Continue to have a productive visit for God and BE SAFE!! (watch out for cows and wild husbands on scooters) Love you!
