We arrived safely in Puerto Vallarta on Thursday afternoon, which is just beyond this row of mountains. We thank all who prayed for us, and for a large (needed for our 3 dogs)& quiet site for us to be for the next four weeks of ministry.  We have been
"connecting" with co-workers, and mapping out a plan.  We met the new "Captains" of the Salvation Army, where we work with the children preparing food & teaching English, and were thrilled to find a couple who love Jesus & have a vision that makes us so thankful to God for answered prayer!!

The sky & all is so beautiful here as Peter walks back to get ready to leave the next day for Puerto Vallarta.  How can anyone deny that our awesome God created all this?

Unlike "Julia" in the picture below, we got to know this young man who thinks he has the world all figured out.  He has owned this catamaran for 4 years now, & has traveled "solo", going from place to place.  When I offered him a bi-lingual N.T., he laughed & told me it was just a "storybook".  He told me I sounded like his mother. (I pray for her). After an interesting discussion & his refusal of God's Word, I told him to just think about the TRUTH I was telling him, and as he scoffed, I told him that if HE was correct in his thinking, we both had nothing to lose, but if God's Word was true, and my belief in Christ is truth, he had EVERYTHING to lose, including his soul.  With that said, he shook my hand & took off on his paddle board to his prize boat.

This is "Julia", one of the indigenous people from the mountain area.  She does beautiful work, and we want to help in a small way by buying from her.  When we offered her a New Testament, she told us she could read Spanish, & was thrilled to get the Bible.  Please pray for her, that she would come to know Jesus.

The views & mostly "empty" beach are a relaxing treat in itself.  One day we were able to give all our remaining children's shoes to the kindergarten teacher in town (about 25 pair).  Since they have 50 children in Kindergarten, and we have distributed shoes there the past two years, we told the teacher to give them out to the most needy families.

We stayed in Punta Perula to have alittle rest before going to our next stop.  This is our trailer, where we hear the waves pounding into shore, & more pics to follow.

After three wonderful weeks of ministry in Playa Azul, we have said our "goodbyes" for this year, & will be praying that God would lead for plans for next year.  We are now in Punta Perula, Jalisco, for a few days of rest & then on Thursday morning we will leave early for Puerto Vallarta.  Please pray for road safety, and for a good site for us & our dogs who accompany us.  We have fellow workers who are waiting for us, and we ask for your prayers as we plan with them as God leads.  Thank you for standing with us.
