These boys are celebrating Uriel's 14th birthday (the boy on your left).  We brought along his friend, (Cesar) who was told he couldn't attend school because his older brother stole things from the school, and he would probably do the same!  The kid is so sad that he has been punished because of his brother.  His Mom left the father & family when he was only one year old & has never seen her.  You don't know how much I wish we could take him home to SC!!

We were so glad to contact Pastor Miguel, who was the Pastor of a bi-lingual church many years ago that we attended. Peter asked him to speak at our ladies group & everyone was so happy to have him speak.  His wife saw our books on 1 & 11 Thessalonians & asked if we had "extra's" for her to teach a class of women where she lives, & we're excited that we had some for her! Our ladies have been so hungry for God's Word, and it's such a pleasure to teach them. We are asking some strong Christians to consider teaching them when we leave.  Please pray for this need!

After a week of ministry & lifting books for our class, etc., Carole had a lot pain in her back. We have been to two hospitals for an MRI and emergency (due to allergic reaction of pain pills), and found that she has a fracture of a bone and 3 discs that are bulging & hitting nerves.  She is waiting for her Dr. from Charlotte, NC, before making a decision about what to do next without harming her back even more.  We would covet your prayers for a clear diagnosis & healing from God.
   
We have much to thank God for with our Bible study.  The women & one husband are coming three days a week, and are having a great time of studying God's Word, and asking questions, and learning more of how to "walk daily" with Jesus.  Friday, we will be showing the Christian movie of "The War Room" , after our study.  We have asked them to invite lots of people to come to this, so again, we covet your prayers.  We plan to give out all of our Bibles, and are witnessing to others who are interested in hearing the Good News.  Thank you all for your prayers.

This is just another pic. of these little ones being "strapped in" so they can sit and play.  Our friends from Canada have named this facility after their grandson, who died from a debilitating disease. They have raised most of the money from fund raisers in Canada, Mexico, U.S.A.& wherever people are willing to keep this place running.  The results have been worth every penny for these precious children!

We visited "Casa Conner" & had a great surprise when we saw Carlos' little cousin with a big smile! He can't talk or walk, but his Mom understands what he wants.  Last year "Jesus" was on a long waiting list, & the Lord made it possible for him to come to this beautiful facility that is FREE to all the families! This is an "only God" situation, & we are thankful.

We have arrived in Mx. as of 2 weeks ago.  When we got here, the place we were to live in for 6 weeks fell through. The first night we stayed in a hotel.  Then we got a call from our friend of 13 years here, & she invited us to her home for the entire 6 weeks! Above are pictures of this beautiful home where we can see the bay & even whales if you happen to have binoculars when they spurt.  This place is quiet and peaceful, and a perfect place to study for our Bible study in town 3 days a week.  We are so thankful for our "hosts", and for our awesome God who answers above & beyond what we ask or think.

Hello to all our "followers".  We haven't been in touch since last April, 2017 when God sent us a "guardian angel" to help us out with our broken down camper, which we no longer will use for trips to Mx.  BUT, our faithful Lord provided a way for us to fly down to one of our areas of ministry in Puerto Vallarta, Mx. for a 6 week time in serving Him!  Two special Christian brothers offered us plane fare, and others are helping as well, to make this possible.  We are so thankful for this opportunity!! We will be leaving on Jan. 26th - Mar. 9th.
     Now we have another request, found in Colossians 4:3 - "Pray for us, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about His mysterious plan concerning Christ ...... and pray that we will proclaim this message as clearly as we should."
